The summer season at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport brings a significant expansion of the destination network and strengthened connectivity between Serbia, Europe and the world, yet another confirmation of the success of the concession partnership and the continued development led by Belgrade Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network.
One of the key highlights of the season is the reinstatement of direct flights to Toronto in May, reconnecting Belgrade with this destination after many years. This marks an important step forward in developing long-haul traffic and further positioning Belgrade as a growing regional hub.
A total of eight new European and regional routes have been introduced this season, including Santorini (Greece), Riga (Latvia), Baku (Azerbaijan), Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Cologne (Germany), Pisa (Italy), Brač (Croatia) and Seville (Spain).

At the same time, frequencies have increased on several existing summer routes such as Alghero (Sardinia, Italy), Palermo (Sicily, Italy), Chania (Crete, Greece) and Alicante (Spain), offering passengers more choice and flexibility during the holiday season.
Plans are already confirmed to launch direct flights to Tenerife (Spain) and Tromsø (Norway) by the end of the year, further enriching the destination offer beyond the summer period.
The expansion of the destination network and the growth in traffic are the result of continuous investments under the concession, with a strong focus on improving efficiency and enhancing the overall passenger experience. Alongside network development, the airport continues to upgrade infrastructure and operational processes in line with the standards of the global VINCI Airports network.

“The summer flight schedule brings one of our most dynamic seasons to date. From eight new routes to the return of direct flights to Toronto, this is an important milestone in strengthening long-haul connectivity. With a large number of airlines and a record destination offer, we continue to develop Belgrade as a regional hub. At the same time, we remain focused on elevating every part of the passenger journey, from accessibility and terminal flow to the service experience at the airport, because we want passengers to feel the comfort and quality from the moment they arrive to the airport,” said Chivoine Rem, Chief Executive Officer of Belgrade Airport.
Passengers can find complete information on the flight schedule, new destinations, airlines and services available at the airport and on the official website beg.aero and through the Belgrade Airport mobile app.
